The design includes a silver field with a blue chevron, symbolizing the martial character of the College. Three lamps represent study and the three components of the Army: Regular, National Guard, and Reserve. An eagle, the national emblem, signifies alertness and vigilance, while the scroll inscribed with “Leavenworth” denotes the College’s historic location.
The crest is authorized for wear on various Army Service Uniforms, including dress blue, dress green, Class A, and Class B.
