GI surplus canvas shelter is heavy duty canvas and maybe used as a half to make a lean-to. It takes 2 halves to make a complete pup tent. This includes one canvas shelter half, 3 pole sections, 1 rope, 3 tent stakes. The same inventory a soldier would carry in the field.
