The USAF Dental Assistant Badge is a military badge awarded to enlisted personnel who have completed technical school training in dental assisting . The badge is worn on the left pocket of the uniform and comes in three levels: basic, senior, and master . The basic badge is awarded upon completion of technical school, while the senior and master badges are awarded after 7 and 15 years of service in the specialty, respectively.
