Description

Lead Statue of WW2 German luftwaffe Band soldier standard-bearer with yellow flag mountain hunter flagbearer (abanderado cazadores montana), ALEMANIA (GERMANY).  Some chips and wear on the paint and ond drum stick is broken.  Age and manufacture unknown.

Germany is referred to as “Alemania” in several languages due to historical and linguistic connections to the Alemanni tribe, a Germanic group that inhabited the region.   Abanderado is spanish for infantry standard-bearer.
