M-1948 M-48 Fishtail parka Korean War Era New Zipper Size Medium listing #64

The product is an M-1948 Fishtail parka from the Korean War era, specifically from 1950-53. It is an original item. Please review all the photos it should answer most of your questions.

Still has the pencil pocket on the left sleeve, new zipper and is in size medium. There’s a large x drawn on the back of the coat which looks to me like a magic marker Lord knows why!

This collectible militaria piece hails from a significant historical conflict and would be a valuable addition to any collection related to the Korean War period.

There’s some small field repairs and still has original fur ruff which I can only think was wolverine or coyote.
