The Minnesota Good Conduct Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This service award is issued upon completion of three continuous years of enlisted service by members of the Minnesota ARNG, ANG, or AGR (Title 32), and attendance at 95% of the drills and days of AT held by the unit assigned. Recipient’s records of service must show them to have, by their good conduct, soldierly qualities, bearing and behavior, set such a good example that the morale of the entire organization was enhanced thereby. The establishment of this medal preceded the statutory authority of 1943. The ribbon displays yellow ends on the left and right that measure ⅛ inch, followed by a patch of light blue that is 7/16 inch wide, and a center that measures ¼ inch wide.
