French ‘Adrian’ Artillery Pattern steel helmet

The ‘Adrian’ Pattern steel helmet was introduced into the French Army in July 1915. It was later adopted by many other countries, including Belgium, during the First World War. The helmets worn by Artillery soldiers were painted khaki and featured crossed cannons with “RF” faced crest attached to the front.

Still has original liner and chin strap.
